Amazon.com Product Description The shock-resistant Timex T71962 IronKids digital watch is the junior version of Timex's vaunted IronMan performance sport watch, and it features a tough, durable case and easy-to-use timekeeping functions for your active youngster. It has an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a durable nylon Fast Wrap strap (with Velcro fastener). It also offers water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet), 12/24-hour time, day and date feature, translucent silver resin case, large, black function buttons, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.

Outstanding watch for the money! September 8, 2010 Mary (St. Louis, MO) I got this watch for my son when he was eight, and he has worn it constantly for school, sporting events, general play, summer camps, etc. He is thirteen now and the band finally fell apart, but the watch still runs perfectly. Since he is outgrowing it anyway I ordered him an Iron Man men's watch. I would love to get a new band for this one and pass it along to my nephew, but my research shows that it would be cheaper to just buy a new watch. What a shame! I would strongly recommend this watch for any growing boy.
Timex kids watch August 20, 2010 Teri Fahlgren (Fairfax, VA United States) This is the 3rd watch I have purchased, and the other two were great. This one says it is waterproof to 50 ft, but after 1 day in a pool, the face clouded up and the watch stopped working. I would not purchase this watch again, nor would I recommend it.
Good watch August 17, 2010 Alo I really wanted a good watch, which it is, but I didn't bought thinking it was a toy.
Overall, it's been working great and has good features. Its gray finishing scratches easily but mostly due to its careless user my son, besides that, it works great.
easy to use, indestructable July 2, 2010 Mom My 9 year old boy likes the way it looks. This watch is easy for him to put on and take off by himself. The moving sports graphic at the top of the display can be minorly distracting. It has survived the boy hazards of mud, swimming pool, bike accidents, insect repellent, etc. without a scratch. I have hand washed the band a few times.
horrible band-no stars if I could May 19, 2010 E&J mom the band on this watch is absolutely horrible. My 8 year old son has worn it for a month and it is totally stretched out. He can no longer wear it. We are returning this item.
