Amazon.com Product Description Help teach your child to tell time with the Timex T89022 Time Teacher watch, which features labeled and color-differentiated hour and minute hands and a color differentiated dial with "to" and "past" markings. This quartz analog watch features a small flower that rotates around the dial with the hands and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with pink flowers against a purple base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), durable purple resin case, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.

Great watch to introduce concept of time and numbers March 12, 2010 E. Golart My little one just received this watch and will not take it off. Comfy and cute, with a great indiglo light, it has become one of her favorite things. While still too young to grasp the full concept of time, just by wearing it she is constantly practicing her numbers - the color corresponding watch hands and numbers make it easy for her to do so and to begin to learn about hours, minutes, and seconds.
so glad I bought this February 24, 2010 Titania (Oklahoma City, OK) Before I bought this watch, I was always arguing with my daughter that it was bedtime & she would never believe me. (She's 3.) Same "discussion" for lunch, dinner, bathtime, etc. She does well with the time timer, where she can see the literal amount of time she has until the next activity, so I realized she might need something to make the concept of time more real to her. So, I had the bright idea to buy her a watch and help her understand that when the little hand points to 8, it's bedtime. Or 12 for lunchtime, etc. And, guess what...it worked! No more arguing for me. the elastic is stretchy & comfortable for her. She can wear it all day & all night if I let her. It's durable & and a wonderful price for a first watch that's sure to get lost eventually. The watch has a little green hand that says "hour" and a big purple hand that says "minutes". This, of course, is useless to her since she can't read. It also divides up the face in minutes 0-30 and 30-60 to help children understand "x minutes after" or "x minutes to." But, as I said, we're not there yet. Still, she loves her watch. And now her 2 year old brother wants his own too. It has made my life easier so I am happy to oblige.
Great Watch For Kids. Could Use Larger Digits February 9, 2010 Wildcat (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great watch to give as a child's first as it truly does help tell the time. The only issues I had with this is that the face and therefore digits could be a bit bigger to make it easier to read. Overall great watch and fantastic purchase from Amazon.
time teacher by Timex February 3, 2010 Elizabeth Sisson The Timex Time Teacher has been an excellent reinforcement for learning to tell time. Each second is labeled and has a second hand. The stretch material is perfect for a smaller-than-average wrist. We are very pleased.
