Amazon.com Product Description
Timex gives its signature Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport watch a sleek new look that's a great fit for both men and women. Featuring a full complement of athletic timing features and a striking profile, the Timex Triathlon Sleek T59201 has a metallic silver resin case that's complemented by a uniquely styled, slim profile black resin strap. It features three alarms that can be set for daily/weekday/weekend/weekly alarms, two time zones, an all-day white reflector display for easy reading even in direct sunlight, and water resistance to 100 meters. Sport timing functions include:
  • 100-hour chronograph with lap/split
  • On-the-fly recall of lap or split
  • Training log stores workouts by date, with best lap, average lap, and total segment time
  • Total run format/synchro timer maintains total activity time (less time paused during workout) and overall running time
  • Automatic interval repetition counter
  • Forward or backward setting
  • Built-in setting reminders
  • Top pusher for easy access to lap and split

The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

5 out of 5 stars Repeat Purchaser   September 1, 2010
Midwest Mom (Cincinnati, OH)
I initially purchased a watch for myself. I like to wear my watch 24-hours a day, and am an active person, so needed something which could withstand some punishment. About the only time I take my watch off during the day is if I'm typing on a laptop on a desk. I also like to lift my hand in the middle of the night to see what time it is without having to roll over, so for the value, this has been a great watch for me.

My daughter started first grade and was always asking me what time it was. I began looking for a watch for her, but after a while, decided to give her my old watch and buy myself a new one. This watch fits her wrist as well, and has worked great for her. This summer, however, her watch did take on some moisture after some pool time. Her watch is about 3-years old.

4 out of 5 stars It's ok   August 19, 2010

This is my second Timex Women's Ironman watch. This one feels a little cheaper than the previous model I had; the silver plastic part surrounding the face just looks and feels cheap. I'm not really sure how else to describe it. Other than that, the watch is just fine. It does what it's supposed to do, and I haven't had any problems so far. No complaints here.

2 out of 5 stars POORLY MADE with Great Features!   July 16, 2010

I have been a devoted Timex fan for 15 + years. I am on my SECOND watch of this model. The first lasted for about 6 months before the watch part broke away from the band, my current one lasted for 1 MONTH before this same thing happend! I can still use it just snap it back into place but I have almost lost the watch part NUMEROUS times! One time in particular I was on a run and keeping track of my miles via the lap button on the Chrono, on my first mile I pressed the button to log the mile and the watch part popped out and I lost it in my layers of jacket and gloves. I found it of course but added time to my run and had to just carry the watch by itself.
Let me say that I LOVE the interval timers and having the capability of 3 alarms and 2 time zones those alone made me buy my second one, I couldn't find another watch on the market that had those features. I have now found SOLEUS watches (they have the same features and more)Womens Soleus 10K Chronograph 30 lap Mid Watchesyou may pay $10 more, but get the same features and hopefully a longer life out of your watch!

3 out of 5 stars Good for the money   July 12, 2010
M. L. Ding (Anaheim, CA United States)
I bought one of these over 3 years ago and am buying a replacement. The keeper for the watch band recently broke and the silver paint on the face has mostly worn off. No problems with leakage and I am impressed that the battery has lasted over 3 years. I like the overall look of the watch because it is functional yet, feminine. I think it would be hard to find a better watch for the price if you are looking for a sports watch. I'm hopeful that Timex has fixed the leaking watch problem that other reviewers have experienced.

1 out of 5 stars can't get wet   July 6, 2010

I bought this watch and loved it because I could set multiple time intervals; it was perfect for my runs. Within a week of owning it I jumped in the pool with it, it fogged up immediately. I waited for days for the condensation to disappear, not being able to see the intervals while running. About 5 days after I wore it in the pool it just completely died. I would not buy this watch again, love the features but not worth the risk of it failing when wet.
